Title: Please point me in the right direction - Guncon with arcade monitor & Arcadevga

I am intrested in trying a guncon2 on my mame cab to see how it works before I hack them for Aimtraks.  Can someone point me to a how to or tell me what I need.  I have a 26 Wells garnder arcade monitor and one of the first ArcadeVga cards.  I do have tinted glass if that will make a difference or not.  I have read about building a circuit board but not sure if I need one.
