I was really impressed with those guys...If anybody been keeping up with the past posts I done...you might remember that I ordered a WICO joystick from Mikesarcade.com and my dumb tail ruined a couple of the leaf switches to it when i was doing the wiring. Taking the advice from others here trying to salvage the mistakes i did ...it didn't work for me...they were beyond saving. Did some searching for replacements and come to find out...those switches are nearly impossible to find. (which adds to the reason of why i perfer microswitches over leaf switches...quantity! hahaha) The ones that i could find, they were overcharging ($2.95 a pop!). Well I was looking over the LizardLick website and i saw where they used to sell WICO china knockoffs but they have been out of stock for a LONG time...I sent an email to Chad Marley ( sales rep) and asked if they would ever get any more back in stock...He contacted me shortly and said he didnt think they would ever get those again...I told him my problem and low and behold he said that he had a bag of 6 switches and he said he would send them to me...FREE of charge...
BACK IN THE SADDLE AGAIN!...
I was so worried that i was going to end up having to jerryrig the metal control panel to be able to hold a different type of joystick...but now that worry is long gone...Now if I can just get rid of the Mr.Butterfingers nickname i'll be all set!...
This probley seems like spam...but I just had to vent out my happiness I am feeling over this...its nice to see that good people are still out and about in the world.
For the noobs out there...if you need parts/supplies etc for your mame/arcade cab/etc...I always make sure that I contact these vendors first...Chad from www.LizardLick.com (http://www.LizardLick.com) and RandyT from www.groovygamegear.com (http://www.groovygamegear.com) (Cant help it....gota show the respect to Randy)

I've always got a good vibe off of LizardLick, so it's nice to hear stories like this.
-
Good experiences with both of them but have to also throw Andy into the mix as well. He may be across the pond but for Canadians in particular the shipping is the same as ordering from the US and in most cases arrives much faster. I've had stuff ordered from Andy arrive within two days.
-
What site or who is Andy? I'd like to know more...(more clients)...
-
Another approval for LizardLick. Chad knows his stuff (or at least the stuff I asked about) and offers very good service and fast shipping from the USA to Canada.
-
Andy from www.ultimarc.com (http://www.ultimarc.com) ;)
He has some great unique items not offered at other stores (and vice versa of course) but one more to add to your list to cover an even greater range of great products.
-
Dude, this isn't an Ultimarc thread. We know how awesome they are. No reason to keep spamming this thread.
-
Yeah i was worried about this becoming a spam fest...I just wanted to let the Lizard haters (if there were any) to know that they(LizardLick) are good people...
Hell Ginsu knows the craziness I was going through about those blasted switches...I thought I was going to have an anxiety attack...
-
Considering this thread is about leaf switches, the site that kept getting suggested isn't an option.
-
I have to agree, those three vendors (Lizard Lick, GGG, Ultimarc) plus Divemaster(for happ stuff) supplied 99% of all my project needs with great customer service and fast shipping
I don't know about Chad but the others are active members of the forum which is nice too

Well, I missed this post, so I apologize. I was out of line. :embarassed:
-
No worries, back to the originally scheduled thread ;)

Chad @ Lizardlick really screwed himself by getting months behind when the "IIRC" Street Fighter 4 stuff came out. 2 years ago I ordered a 24-1 pac kit and was 100% please with the product and Chads support. I also give LL kudos.
-
I've also had good luck with LizardLick. They have some things I just can't find anywhere else.
I actually need a replacement dust washer and they have it for just a quarter. Don't know anyone else that sells just the washer.
I'm just waiting to have another "need" so I can save on shipping costs.
Thumbs up for DiveMaster & Ultimarc also.

I thought you was being a hard-ass just because....

How about all of you fervent fanboys run over to the wiki and add some reviews in the vendor listings ?
