Title: Ultimarc Vid Amp problems
Post by: Chunce DeLeone on October 21, 2009, 08:12:01 am
I've tried that VideoAmp on a WGK7000, Sanyo EZV20 and a WGK4600 and neither worked.  They all had sync problems and all worked fine with a JPAC.  Has anyone gotten that Ultimarc Video AMp to work with any monitor?

I am using video amp with my K7000 (25") and it works great. Have you tried this connection? http://www.jstookey.com/arcade/WG_25k7191/WG_25K7191_output.JPG (http://www.jstookey.com/arcade/WG_25k7191/WG_25K7191_output.JPG)

Yes that is the connection i have been using, maybe the amp itself is hosed.  im afraid to keep testing it for fear of ruining my monitors, i was fooling around with the amp on the k7000 and after i was done everything looked greener than it had --BINGO! Either that, or I was attempting to say "before" but it was too many letters to type--.......i hate this kind of troubleshooting, by trying to save a few bucks i could end up breaking a 200$ monitor!~!! :banghead:

r u using  R G B SYNC GND   or  R G B Hsync Vsync GND ?

I have WG k7 series monitor and had to use separate H/V syncs.
