Title: whats the transparent marquee material?
Post by: saleem on October 19, 2009, 05:24:30 pm
i want to design a marquee for my fbot,i know its transparent so the light shines through it,anyone know what the transparent material is actualy called or can direct me to a site or something so i know what to look for when trying to buy it.

i intend to print the design myself with a standard printer as it is not a big marquee, sort of a4 sized.

its not flimsy like normal paper but it bends.

i am in uk.

They print custom marquees. As far as I know this is the best site to get your marquee done.

You really don't want to print your own if you don't have the proper equipment. Check out the link in my signature.

i am not asking for a place to get my marquee done.i asked what the transparent material used for some marquees is called or where i can buy some.

i plan on printing my own marquee as its a fixed odd betting terminal i am converting to mame.no point in paying someone to do it for me especialy when mamemarquees is in us and i am in uk,i only need a small one in the first place.

i could buy a4 glossy photo paper and use that, apparently its good for backlighting but,it leaves me needing to put a piece of plexi over the front of it,where the transparent plasticy stuff i am asking about wont need anything in front, either way i will sort the marquee out.
