alright, i finally got my mame stuff working through mamewah, and even my NES emulator, but when i try to push ESC, of course like many peoples it only cuts off the full screen of the emulator and doesnt return me to mamewah itself. this is only my NES emulator that is doing this. i am using FCEultra. i have virtualNES and Nester and Nesticle and all that crap that i can use, but virutal NES gives me problems, it wont start for some reason. anyway, is there a way to get FCEultra to close when i push ESC?

I am not Minwah... and I'm not actually sure...
but I believe howard C's command line wrapper thingies help make other emulators behave more like Mame i.e. more FE friendly...
*shrug* http://www.oscarcontrols.com/lazarus/ i believe

do these work for mamewah as well? i dont want to switch FE's.
-
they are FE independent... they are mearley wrappers that alter the functionality slightly of some less cabinet friendly emulator(s) in order to make them more FE friendly (in general)
*Shrug* note: I haven't bothered to get my NES/etc games setup on my cabinet yet so I haven't had to wrestle with this first hand, but it's my undersatnding as to it being hte well traveled path... you could also consider a differen NES emulator...

VirtuaNES allows you to specify the exit key. In the dos version you can edit the cfg to make esc exit.
I am using virtua nes with mamewah on my cab.
