Title: Donkey Kong or DKjr record broken..??

CNN Naturally can't figure out what they're talking about..the pic shows DK Jr, which we all know is played with the ape in the diaper.

But the article writeup talks about the guy maneuvering Mario...I assume its just DK Junior...

For what its worth, the best part about the article indicates that whats-his-name..(Billy somebody?, crap it was just in the article) was sounding like he didn't consider it a real record because it wasnt done "in public" or some lame ego-bruised excuse like that.

I read about that on www.twingalaxies.com yesterday.  It was Donkey Kong, not Jr.  Record is now something like 900K+.   The same guy broke the Jr. record last year, that's probably what CNN was talking about.

Too bad the ColecoVision version doesn't count in this.  My all time high score on that was over 1.8 Million.   :D

Mitchell has been saying he's been "planning something big" ever since that MTV A Gamer's Life profiled him.  The man is a wizard, what can you say.  He is literally stuck in the early 80s (have you seen his hair recently??).

Thats what I thought.  "Dude you're almost 40, please "Shock the world" by giving up mastery of 80's arcade games.......please do something for humanity as a whole that wont be ridiculed untilt he end of time" :D

I remember one of the shots in the interview had him leaning back in some office chair, in a tiny office, nodding and talking on the phone.......and thinking all the while "its probably his mom, telling him to get a job and get out or she's calling the police this time"... ;)

PS: At what point in your life do you realize that you should be addressed as Bill or William, cuz "Billy" Sounds like you're eternally 7 years old....and the only guy wearing long curly hair these days is Michael Bolton.

The whole dude is just "wrong" ;)
