Title: My First Arcade Build
Post by: Cloud VII on October 12, 2009, 02:20:43 pm: I'm pretty new to this stuff but got the idea from DaOld Man. He helped me out tremendously and so did this forum once he turned me on to it. I built this last year for my son for Christmas. I'm an electrician by trade but have never been much of a carpenter. The machines I have seen here are amazing but I'm still pretty proud of mine.

Post by: Cloud VII on October 13, 2009, 01:19:29 pm: I had run the lights for the coin slots off of the computers power supply.....and I blew up the PS. So, I had that other PS laying around at work and I used it for the coin slots.

My wife works for a graphics company. They do vinyl wraps on race cars, fire trucks, etc. She designed the side art and made them for me. It's actually 1 full piece of vinyl the same dimension as the side of the machine. We just peeled the back off and stuck it on there!

That's great work! If I can just get around to making up my mind I'd have that part done.
Do I see "side" work in your wife's future? Probably no where near as much money in that as what she does. But hey the Mame world can always use more vendors.
