I am currently wiring up a cabinet with some leftover parts. I am using an old electrahome monitor. I wired up the isolation transformer last night (thanks Ken for the help). I powered it on and the screen is full of colorful lines, but no picture. I know the pcb is good. I am wiring it jamma, i tied the two old sync lines together to match with the one sync line i have from the jamma harness. I am unsure whether it is a sync issue or if the monitor needs adjustment. The monitor was working and adjusted fine in the cabinet i removed it from (i played it). Honestly, i dont know how to adjust the screen anyway, the electrohome controls are different, it looks like you need a special tool plus the controls arent marked. Can anyone tell me how to make the adjustments? is there a diagram that will tell me what controls do what? What do i use to turn the brass buttons? I can post pics if you need them, but i am sure this is a minor issue, i know the monitor had a nice picture in its previous cabinet just 2 weeks ago, but perhaps the modern wiring is making an issue?

Try adjusting the H. FREQ pot.
(and these should be marked on the chassis)
You'll see that each one has a small flat bladed slot in the middle of it.

And be very careful that you don't accidently short the screwdriver shaft to either the metal chassis frame or the little silver shield directly behind that pot. You'll damage your monitor if you do.

that did the trick, beautiful picture again, thanks! :D
