Title: Mods being re-applied - testers wanted
Post by: saint on October 11, 2009, 12:45:46 pm
Re-applying mods today. Testers wanted for feedback on whether or not they work please.

So far:

- Autoembed videos (seems to be working far as I can tell)

- Ignore users. Those of you who were previous ignoring a user please check to see if it retained your ignore user lists or if they were lost and let me know.

I don't have an Ignore User list option anymore, however, in personal message options, the ignore list for PMs is still showing the one person I had on it.

I don't see the ignore users option in my profile at all.

OK - will look. The way it seems to work now is whomever you've set for ignoring via PM is now ignored elsewhere. I'll see if there's a way to add ignore the user without having to go through PM.

Ignore another user - see above discussion
Last login time showing under username in posts
Auto-embed video/audio
SMF Trader system
Spoiler tag

Nuff for now :)

I'm using the SMF theme.  Still no ignore, and no bookmarks...   :banghead:

You don't see either of these two options?

Is that cached by any chance? Have you refreshed the page? Probably not cached but please double-check. They've changed the ignore user mod and I don't think it's as versatile...

Ok, bookmarks are back, and all my original bookmarks are still there,  :woot

Ignore still not working.  Cleared cache, refreshed, etc.  Still see the posts...   :'(

Think I have ignore user fixed now. Try again?

Looks different than it did before, but it does work.

I think the last login thing is a bit overkill. Best to keep that on the profile page than gunking up every post on every thread.

Fair enough - other thoughts? If more people dislike it I'll take it back off.

The previous ignore worked better (also ignored during replies) and easier (ignore link right on article). That original mod is not coming back?

Just asking though. This one works fine too.

Unfortunately that mod isn't compatible with the current version of the forum. I'll keep an eye out for updates.

I'm not a fan, but only because it's different. I think if "Last Login" showed up above the date, it would look better.

FYI, search has now been enabled and tweaked. Both relevance application and topic searching works properly.
