Title: Testing coin mech and credit boards
Post by: elaverick on October 06, 2009, 01:53:17 pm
Hi,
I've just bought a box full of coin mechs and credit boards from eBay, which were listed as untested (amazingly I actually think these were untested rather than just broken :)).  Problem my cab isn't far enough advanced for me to being installing things to test them.  It'd be really handy if I could run through them and see what's junk and what's going to be a goer.
Does any one have any advice for testing these things?

I;ve got a combination of Coin Controls C220's/Sentinels and Mars ME 111/ME 126's.

The 111's are a bit old but are worth selling on if they work, Same with the 126's but they are newer. The pins on the MEI validators are quite simple. There is a good website explaining them.

Ive also messed about with the Mars/MEI/Cashflow Validators as My cab has one and so does my fruit machine. Ive got some bumf on my desktop if you need any more info
