Title: What type coin door is this?
Post by: garnerb350 on October 06, 2009, 12:22:48 pm: Ok...Im having a hard time trying to find anything dealing with Universal brand cabs...
I'm cleaning up the coin door and i just want to find more information on this particular brand/model...
Can anybody tell me where i can find the info?

I made a drawing of the coin door...I know its not a Midway door...It has 'UNIVERSAL" etched in the center...

It blows my mind how everbody here can look at a cab and tell what make /model/manufactuer it is...

2nd question....I also have come across a space invaders 2 cocktail....it is missing the coin door (it was rigged for freeplay) The coin door is smaller than your average coin door ( about the size of a hand) Can anybody tell me where I can find a type that size?

I looked on the back of it and there was nothing on the back...

I'm just trying to find more info on it...schematics, placements of coin mechs...etc...

The one I have, some of the wiring is missing (lamp holders...etc)

I want to restore it...but if I cant, then i guess i'm going to have to rig it for some type of free play...

Post by: garnerb350 on October 06, 2009, 01:17:52 pm: I did a couple of weeks ago....I looked at Ladybug and Mr Do...Ladybug just had the major shematics ( which I cant understand anyway)...and the Mr DO...had everything except the coin door...
Tried doing searches on Google and all i get is "a universal ( everyday) coin door.
