Title: LedWiz config question (Update: Anyone?)
Post by: mark6437 on October 05, 2009, 05:20:34 pm
Ok. I am going to be installing my LedWiz soon. Prob this weekend. Here is my question as I am new to led's.

I keep reading about RGB. I think it means red green blue? But I am not sure. I downloaded the ledwiz plugin and I am reading the install instructions.

I came accross this:

For instance, if my PLAYER 1 COIN RGB LED is wired into inputs 1,2,3 on my
  LEDWiz, I would:
+ Select P1_COIN on the left listbox.
+ Be sure that P1_COIN is CHECKED.
+ Then select LED Type of RGB.
  + For R input, I would select 1.
  + For G input, I would select 2.
  + For B input, I would select 3.

Can someone explain what RGB is? Because I am going to have no idea what to select, 1, 2 or 3.

Thx
Mark

You are correct, R=red, G=green, B=blue.

Ok I am confused then. So if I want a Red light I pick #1? I thought the LED was a white light and the color of the button determined the color? I know that sounds confusing but I am cornfused too hahah

Thx

I'm not sure what you are having problems with (you are confusing me now:p)

Here is what mine looks like:

1,2, and 3 represent the wire that connects to your rgb drive (I'm assuming you bought these: http://groovygamegear.com/webstore/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=83&products_id=240)

You will have to do a quick test to find what order the wires are in but my setup looks like the attached pic.

No I didnt order that.

I have the LedWiz and the NoveGem buttons from GGG with the led. I have blue, clear, and red buttons.
