Title: WTB: Computer for MAME cabinet (Bellevue, NE, US)
Post by: bartre on October 05, 2009, 12:18:37 pm: well, I'm pretty far along with my cabinet, and i had it working and playable to the point where i would be happy with not working on it for the winter( weather here isn't friendly in the winter )

but i hit a snag, the motherboard in the computer i was using died.
fortunately, i've still got all of my data, as the hard drives are still good.
but I was wondering if anyone had a spare computer that they might be willing to sell me.
I don't really want to spend a whole lot of money, but that's all relative to the machine.
I'm fine as long as it can play metal slug 3, but if it can play melty blood, then that's even better.
if necessary, all i REALLY need is the Motherboard, compatible RAM, and the right Processor.
