Title: Need advice on Rowe R87 trouble
Post by: John Zzz on October 05, 2009, 12:42:36 am
Upon power up, my Rowe R87 enters "continuous play" mode regardless of the play switch setting. After pressing "clear selection memory", all is normal. Any clues as to what might cause the juke to power up to "continuous play" mode? All opinions will be appreciated.
Thank You!

Hi,

You have a fault more than likely on your CCC.
You need to send your boards for testing, I would send the following so they can be tested and inspected for dry joints (called cold joints in the USA):-

CCC
Mechanism Control
Pricing Board

They need to go to a Rowe Ami speciaist for repair.

Alan,
You were correct, the CCC had multiple troubles. The board was professionally repaired by Bruce Wentworth at A&B Jukebox Repair.

Thank you for your help.
