Hi Guys,
Noob here so be gentle. Bought an old non dedicated cab that I am now converting to a fresh mame install. Just about getting there, but decided to redo all the wiring.
My new jamma loom arrived today, but the video has a 5 wired/pinned connector, whereas the connector currently into the hanterex chassis is 6 wired.
Any idea of what I do here? Just splice the new wires into the old like for like, or is there more to it then that??
Cheers,
mooro

the mtc9000 has an extra connector for vertical sync
connector on mtc is
1-red
2-green
3-blue
4-video ground
5-vertical sync
6-horizontal sync/composite sync
use horizontal sync

Thanks for that. Are you saying then I can do away with vertical synch?
Or do I put both vert/horizontal synch wires into the composite synch pin?

i would connect both vert and hori to the comp sync but you can do both options
hantarex can be picky on vert sync on namco and snk stuff btw-if you do get a problem with vert rolling then connect a 5k resistor from the vert sync pin to video ground on the actual monitor signal plug

Thanks for your help Grant. Worked fine with just the comp/horizontal synch.
