here's my deal:
- laptop at work with iTunes
- PC at home with iTunes
- I have an iPhone 3G
I bought the new Alice in Chains album on iTunes on my laptop because I wanted to see the new LP feature iTunes has. Normally I would only buy music from amazon.com since it's drm free, but nevertheless....i was lured by steve jobs and his stupid lp thing. anyway, what i want to do is to basically have the LP stuff on my iTunes on my home PC. i'm doing not doing anything shady or illegal, i'm just wanting the same content on two pc's.
i thought i could just sync my iphone to my laptop (which has the LP i want) and then go home and sync the iphone with my pc...but i get the message saying that i have to erase everything on my iphone in order to sync with another itunes. GREAT.
how do i accomplish what im wanting to do here? i have the lp on my iphone and on itunes on my laptop at work, and now i just want the same content on itunes at home...is that so hard to do??

If it's the same iTunes account on both you can either copy the files over manually, or take your laptop home and put htem on the same network. The latest iTunes allows you to share libraries and move content around if you have hte same iTunes account. :)

ah....so i guess that's the home sharing thing.

Yup. I used it to finally sync up my MacBook with my wife's laptop.. A bunch of stuff I wouldn't have bothered to sync otherwise :)
But, to answer your original question, I don't think there's any way to sync with 2 computers... I could be wrong, though...
