Asking this question for a buddy of mine. He's successfully implemented a rotating LCD screen on his cab, and is working on his FE setup.
We like Mamewah and would like to use it. Is there a way to configure Mamewah to automatically rotate vertical games 90 degrees so they appear correctly on the monitor?
We've currently got the monitor wired to an electric motor hooked to 2 pushbuttons on the the control panel. Hold down one button, and the monitor rotates 90 degrees one way & stops. Hold down the other one, and it rotates back.
We just want to configure our Front End to launch vertical games properly. Can this be done via Mamewah .ini files?

Unfortunately no. MAMEWAH doesn't know what orientation you're running it in and there's no code in it to determine so...

Mala can do that, using startcom plugin and mrotate2.
Also, if you are not using a H drive to power the motor, you will need to make/buy one.
If mamewah could know which orientation the game needs to be in, and turn it's menu screen, then it should be possible to use mrotate2 with mamewah.
I dont know anything about mamewah, so I dont know if it is even remotely possible.
