Post by: jasonbar on September 24, 2009, 01:14:53 am
***UPDATED 3/4/10***

Howdy-

1 - Excalibur 402-1 Classic Space Invaders color handheld (with batteries).  Great cosmetic condition & fully functioning.  Asking $10

3 - Loose 2600 carts:
Nexar: asking $6
Shark Attack (so-so labels): asking $2
Strawberry Shortcake (so-so label): $2

6 - Black handle for a Happ Heavy Duty 8-Way Trigger Stick for sale.  Based on photos only, it *appears* that this will also work on the Happy Heavy Duty Analog Trigger Stick.  Like new--has no more than 3-5 hours of gameplay on it.
Pic of handle as it was previously installed:

7 - XBox original controller, broken.  During an attempt to hack in a DB9 connector to play emulated Atari games as Atari intended, I damaged 2 places irreparably (as far as my skills go, at least...).  A button doesn't work, missing capacitor C27--consequence unknown.  See pics for details.  Otherwise intact & in great shape--great for parts or a repair job!  $5 shipped.

Off-topic items:

12 - Men's bi-fold wallet made from a computer keyboard membrane circuit.  One-of-a-kind!

Trades I'm looking for:
Vectrex homebrews
Vectrex manuals: Armor Attack, Berzerk, Blitz, Rip Off, Star Castle, Starhawk, Web Wars

In general, I go for quantity, not quality! ;D

Here's my "haves" list--if you have something I don't have for a console listed in this sheet, let's talk!

Too bad you're in Ca. The Vectrex isnt the sort of thing I'd want shipped...

Hey, the buzz you mention... No need to mention it. They ALL do that, even when they were new.

Yah, Vectrex is just too scary (and pricy) to ship casually...

I think some buzz more than others--just trying to describe thoroughly.  :]

Thanks for the reply.

I've had two Vectrexes shipped, and I've shipped one, and had no problems.

Yeah, long-documented issue which doesn't affect game-play or longevity of the machine.

BTW, last time I checked, repro overlays were still available through standard Vectrex communities.

Strange--I hunted for repros a couple of years ago & came up with nothing.  Got any specific leads on overlays?  I need just Polar Rescue to have a full set of original game overlays.

Thanks,
