So, when the avatar system changed, it lost my avatar, so I had to upload it to photobucket. Now it stretches the image, no matter whether I'm using a regular image or animated one.
<----See what I mean?
Can you fix this, saint?
-
Stretching here also.
-
Yeah, it wasn't happening before, so something changed.
-
Please test on test forum at forumtest.arcadecontrols.com
-
It fixed it on the forumtest.
Well, it fixed it in the profile view, but not on the forum itself.
-
The last post still applies after the upgrade. Still not fixed.
-
Changed from "link to picture" to upload picture and BEHOLD! No stretching.
Good job. :applaud:
-
Fixed mine as well, though it won't allow me to upload my animated one anymore. It keeps giving me an error.

That's my fault - I already uploaded it on the test forum (which shares the same avatar directory) while I was tinkering with things -- rename it then upload it.
-
Even with a different filename, it's telling me:
An Error Has Occurred!
Your attachment couldn't be saved. This might happen because it took too long to upload or the file is bigger than the server will allow.
Please consult your server administrator for more information.
I was able to upload it before things changed, but now I can't. I mean, I don't guess I really need to use the animated version, but I like it.

Doh! That's right, that's as far as I got with it. You can upload it with the forumtest.arcadecontrols.com site (running the old 1.1.8 code) but not this site running the 1.1.10 code, even though they have the same file size limits and such and are writing to the same directories.
No clue.
I'm traveling right now, but when I get back I'm going to ask the SMF folks to help figure that one out.

Thanks John.
