Title: beyond ROM Lister
Post by: n88n on September 14, 2009, 05:43:07 pm
Hello,

I am working on setting up the PC part of a soon to be full cab.  I see how ROM Lister is used and how it would be helpful but I am looking for something else.  When my front end loads there are like 600+ plus games and I hate seeing all of them.

Is there software that will just allow me to select certain games from the 'big list' to create a smaller list?  I reckon i can just edit the file manually but that is no fun.

thanks!

Nate

What frontend are you using?

I use mala and I have a game list for recently played, I basically played all of my favorite games and then they showed up on the list

I have been testing out a couple and so far Hyperspin has been the easiest to setup and get running.  i have MAME and NES going so far.  I like Hyperspin so far.

I tried MALA first and it had no bells and whistles 'out of the box'.  I am sure you could get there with some effort but for now I think I will stick with Hyperspin.  I wonder if there is anything like the feature you mentioned in hyperspin.  I would like a greatest hits list.
