Title: Which Marquee?

Ive made 2 Marquee's. Ive not designed it all myself though, Just made some alterations. Ive done two and Im not sure which to use.

Neither.

Both are way too busy and cluttered.

I like the top one. But the ultimate question is which do YOU like? After all you are the one who is going to be staring at it day in and day out.

To be honest, I don't know which one I like. Ive been experimenting with various marquee's. The 3 above are what Ive come up with. I do agree with Ginsu Victim though. I may thin the top one down a bit and see what it looks like.

My biggest issue is there's nothing new here. I've seen these all before.

Go with what you like best, though. Once it's printed, we won't be the ones looking at it.

At the end of the day, Im a total novice at this cabinet lark. I don't want it to look daft, I want it to look nice. I like peoples opinions. If my design isn't liked, I would rather people say is looks naff, I don't mind. You guy's have more of an idea than me. I repair E-Type Jags for a living :banghead:, Im not a graphic designer :notworthy:. I wish I was though, I bet the pay would be better :burgerking:

Personally I like the first one better.

I'm kinda similar, I'm going in between the looks that will make my friends amazed and what I'll like. Im kind of hoping I wont be the only one playing it  ;D

none.

redo it. black background doesnt really work. you want something brighter/flashier. characters should be bigger and maybe a glow behind the mame logo. dont bother with "company logos" like capcom/konami/whatever. that never works with anything(IMO)
