Title: PC not recognizing trackball. (opti-wiz)
Post by: churchpunk1123 on September 12, 2009, 08:03:16 pm
I had to replace the computer in my cabinet and the new pc is a dell and doesn't have any ps/2 ports.  I have a little adapter for ps/2 to usb and the computer doesn't recognize the trackball.  I am using an opti-wiz and would have problems with my last pc because that pc wouldn't recognize it right away.  I would have to plug in a ps/2 mouse and after boot up, i would switch to the trackball and it would work.  Now I can't even do that.  Any help? Thanks

Have you tried contacting Randy T at Groovygamegear.com?

At worst, you could always bite the bullet and buy a USB version of the Opti-Wiz (under $20).  It's possible you may have a defective unit since it never worked right anyway.

Again, best bet, e-mail Randy.

Good Luck!
