It's a good price but I was hoping to save a bit and get a used one with a game or something.

If I'm gonna buy new, I'm probably gonna wait till Xmas to get in on a holiday bundle or some meijer coupons, lol.

I hear you on that one. Meijers coupons rock. I use those to pick up the brand new games (if it's something I really want). What games are you going to get? The only ones I've played with regularity are Metal Gear Solid 4 and Little Big Planet. You can't go wrong with either of those.

can I use my current ps3 hard drive on the newer slim ps3? id sell mine if I can just swap it thats it.

Yes, you can use your existing hard drive :)

yeah but I dont think its a clean swap. currently have a 500gb drive with bunch of HD/blu ray movies in there. id probably have to back up everything on an external drive first.
