Title: Bottom mounting question
Post by: Haterot on September 11, 2009, 04:42:36 pm
I am going to bottom mount my U360 (on 5/8th plywood), anyone know how large a diameter hole I need for the shaft.  I am using the octaganol restrictos so the throw is limited by that. Any ideas?

I used the same size hole as for standard happ buttons (I think it's a 1" hole?)

BUT I did route out about 1/4 inch on the bottom of 3/4" ply so the stick didn't sit so low.

Im going to route out about 2mm for the faceplate but that is all. Im not sure I wan a 28mm hole. I would have to route out the circle a bit and put a dustwasher in there to flush it out, otherwise the cpo could tear at the hole.
