Title: Electrohome G07CB0 crack in the neck tube.......is this bad?

Before I continue to buy parts to repair my chassis, I wanted to know if the crack in the neck tube says I should forget it.
The crack has been there since I have owned the cab and it did work nicely for me for a bit....now I think I have a regulator problem ( see http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=95063.0 )

Also the last time I turned on the cab, there was no visible glow from the neck tube.

What do you guys think?

That does not appear to be a crack. Looks like a fine hair of some glue. Scrape it off with your fingernail.

Sorry..... had to get that out.
But always good to find out it's NOT what you think it is in this case.

If it had been a crack, you would have known.... it puts off a nice little light show in the neck.
