I have a Cyclone with the repo Comet ramp - which apparently is much thicker than the standard issue ramp the game originally came with. Due to the ramp's size it causes the lower pop bumper to push down to one side. The bumper still works but for aesthetic purposes I would like to purchase a new pop bumper cap that has a side shaved off......apparently they sell these somewhere but I cant seem to find them at Pinball Life/Marco/Action Pinball.
Anyone ever heard of these types of pop bumper caps and if so do you know where to find them?

Does the fact that I dont have one count?

Are you serious?

I have seen them, but not sure where to get them at either. I'm not sure exactly how your ramps are fastened, but maybe a few washers under the screws might raise it up just enough to make it clear the bumper cap without noticeably affecting how the ball travels along them.
And Jim, not everybody is THAT cheap when it comes to the hobby.

If you do go the DIY approach I can bring my cordless dremel to Chucks if you want, you can borrow it for a month or so or we can cut it there...no worries.
Maybe a hack saw blade would be good too...dunno that may rough it up a lot so I bet a brand new razor in a razorknife will be good.
I did that on my tomcat due to having the wrong gate installed.

Well I bought a dremel today and performed my own DIY job on the pop bumper. Could probably look better but first time I've ever used a dremel so I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. Side note - the dremel would appear a very versatile tool. Glad I now have one.

So on the chance someone might know this, what model number bulbs were in a Cyclone in the areas under the slingshots and under the plastics on the right and left sides, etc. The manual shows the pin used #555 and #44 bulbs but I cant tell specifically where they were located in the playfield. I'm pretty sure the #555's are used around the mystery wheel and maybe under the PF inserts and the bulbs under the slingshots and plastics are #44.....is this correct?
The guy I bought mine from has blue LED lights throughout the PF, under the slingshots and under the plastics and I would like to replace them with some combination of white/orange/red LED lights. I was hoping to figure this out without having to start taking off plastics or removing the sockets from under the playfield....and again I guess I'm not smart enough to figure out the manual's lamp matrix.

Here's a friendly note about LEDs...
LEDs looks absolutely spectacular in inserts, but they're pretty poor being used for GI on the playfield and under plastics. I would just do your inserts with LEDs to start and then see how you like the look of the pin. Lots of people put LEDs in for their GI and feel that the light is too harsh, too cool, or doesn't diffuse as well as the standard incandescent bulbs. After adding LEDs to around 20-30 machines, I agree that LEDs are best left to the inserts, flasher bulbs, and behind the translite.
As you're replacing bulbs, the difference between #44 and #555 is easy to spot since the #555 will be wedge-base bulbs and the #44 will be twist in/out. Most inserts will use #555, but a few could use #44. For the bulbs under your slingshots and plastics, those are almost all going to be #44s.

Thanks Jeff, you answered my question or at least confirmed my suspicions on the bulb type.
