Title: Mala crash while scrolling games list

I am crashing when trying to scroll through one of my four game lists. Seems to be related to the snap file for the game, but a check of the error log just says its an "Access Violation" I checked the PNG file and it opens just fine in other programs. I verified its the snap by renaming it and scrolling the list to the game. The snap doesnt show up (due to the rename) and I can then use the rom just fine. Any ideas?

if Mala crashes while scrolling it is usually 90% of the time the snap file, convert the file using paint to a jpg and it should work fine

I agree with dungbeetle as I had the same problem.

Turned out it was the PNG files I was using for the background of each emulator window - swap emulators and MaLa would randomly crash with an Access Violation error.

I altered the backgrounds from PNG to GIF format (fortunately they don't use a lot of different colours) and the problem disappeared............

Im using pngs for just about anything; layouts, snaps and more. Never had a problem. But maybe im just luckey. I dont líke jpeg due to the compression in them.
