Title: 8 way wico 's leaf switch joystick for Robotron mame cab

IM building a mame cab and want original robotron joysticks for 8 ways. Does anyone know where i can find rebuilt original robotron sticks. Im assuming Robtron had 8 way wico leaf switch joysticks correct me if im wrong

Yep, Robotron used 8 way leafs.  They did have slightly longer shafts IIRC (not sure if that is necessary for a MAME cab, I just use stock 8 ways).

As for where to get them, I've got all mine from eBay, but maybe someone will have some info on vendors.

How does the stock 8 way leaf work with robotron, Also can i mount them to a standard HApp bolt pattern or is the mounting plate a differnent size

i have some 8way wico sticks, and the bolt patterns seem to match right up with happ comp sticks

Telengard is correct about the shafts.  Robotron used 4" long shafts, most other games use 3.5".  The 4" shafts with red ball tops can be hard to find.  Even more so now that people are making Multi Williams cabinets.
