Title: New to forums, Pac Man Cocktail Question

Hey guys first post here so hopefully this is in the right spot. I've been lurking for a while and have gotten tons of inspiration. Just bought my first pin and have plans to start a mame cab.

I have found a Pac Man Cocktail that I would like to restore. A friend of a friend wants to sell it for $100. The sound comes on but the screen just has a horizontal white line. Is this something a newb could fix? Do you think it is a board problem or a monitor?

well if it's in good shape i'd say go for it.. even if the monitor is dead..

i dont know much about monitors but it sounds fixable.. it could be something as simple a loose wire.

anyway even if you have to replace the monitor i'd buy it for 100 bucks assuming it's not ragged out.

yeah, for sure.  if the cab is in decent shape, $100 seems reasonable.
