Post by: blazer on July 13, 2003, 06:41:12 pm
I have a wells gardner k7000 monitor and i cant get it to work in my cab i have it hooked to an ultimarc vid adapter and then to a tnt 2 32mb card the synch seems to be all out of wack and i need help. If i force the output of the card to 15khz refresh rate it should correct the problem im thinking but i dont know how to do it since the menu only allows you to go to 60. does anyone know how to do this please help i really dont want to sink any more costs into this thing.

what menu are you referring to?

HAve you read the pc2jamma page?

Have you checked out hte excellent info at http://how.to/mame

?

It sounds like you are mixing up stuff a bit... which is easy to do with all the different hz and khz bantared about regarding monitors...    anyways you need to get that video card outputting 15khz...  either by using arcadeos's built in driver, or arcmon TSR, or configuring Advance MAme properly...

either way be careful! don't send full VGA screens to your arcade monitor (i.e. your POST screens and DOS... etc...) you ARE in DOS right?

well when his site was up it was very helpful....

You've got a better chance of seeing god than getting win2k to run at 15khz man...  that is unless you get the ArcadeVGA card, but you seem adverse to spending any more duckets, eh?

Only chance would be with the powerstrip appplication in win2k.

Did you do your homework before attemptiong this?
