Maybe you won't find it as funny as I do, but this kid says several things that made me feel old. He actually says "I dunno if Street Fighter 2 ever came out for the Atari"

"And we got it pretty cheap... like $5000." :laugh2:

Doesn't that ---fouled up beyond all recognition--- up Atari logo say it all ?

Video games only in 1971 eh? I may have been born in 1983 but even I know that Pong didn't hit arcades till 1972. :D
Can you imagine the day that games like Time Crisis 3, Outrun 2 SP, Tekken 5 and the like are all being emulated in MAME in crazy cabs and their little CHD files are considdered small by contemporary standards? XD

I love the naivity of it all. Reminds me of speaking with my nephews, who are all fascinated by what I do, but are totally clueless - even this kid's comment on Youtube reads "I got a arcade mashine". LOL
What made me chuckle the most was I'm pretty sure the kid has to stand on some kind of pad or cushion to film it properly (look at the black thing on the floor in some shots). A few arcades/working men's clubs in the UK back in the day left either stools, tall chairs or steps to stand on for small kids to play like this, and I was one of them!
I was born right in the middle of the videogame revolution (1980) so it's inevitable it was going to stick with me as an adult. I'm about to hit the big 3-0 but I'll never let go of this element of my childhood!

That was actually a pretty good review considering the age of the kid. It's too bad that this generation will never know what it was like to line up your quarters to play pac-man.

OMG, thanks for posting a link to that video. that may be the youngest narration about 25+ year old games.

He gets a lot of facts wrong but I always love it when a new generation discovers arcade games...never too late.
Truth about him not ever knowing what it was like to line up quarters, only in our nostalgia.

That's weird. I'd posted a comment the other day and it's gone. Something about David R Foley and how his games might be illegal...
