I may have dropped a bit of a klanger. I sold my Shinobi PCB on ebay. It was sold with what I thought was a JAMMA adaptor. The person that bought it said its not a JAMMA connector. I never actually checked if it was a JAMMA or not. The connector has 44 pins, The end 4 pins on each end are GND and I dont know what the rest are as I butchered the wiring? Any Ideas what it was??

So what you're describing is an adapter that goes from the 56 pin Shinobi TO a 44 pin wiring harness ?
Shinobi is 56 pin LIKE a JAMMA pinout...... but it is definitely NOT JAMMA.

Lots of older systems used a 44 pin edge connector, so without knowing the exact wiring pinout that was used it would be hard to say.
