Hey Everyone
Ok here is my problem, I have a Golden Tee 99 arcade game and when I first got it the game was playing great but then I noticed when I turned it on the monitor powers up but the game doesnt actually come on. So after turning it on and off a few times it came on. Of course this morning I turned it on and wham doesnt come on at all.
Is there a way to test it out and see if it is the board or what??? The sound doesnt come on or anything. :hissy:

Here are some pics of the setup

From the sounds of things it would be either the gameboard or possibly the power supply, a good way to test that would be with a multimeter, check the 12v, 5v etc.
I had a power supply causing problems in my machine so I'd say it's worth a try :)

Agreed. Check those voltages! That's game repair 101.

Ok guys, you were right I turned the little knob to increase the voltage and it kicked right on.
NOW there is another problem, my trackball rolls to the right and left but the game doesn't pick it up.
So golden tee 99, I cant switch clubs or change courses unless I give it a little love tap.
Any ideas on how to fix this or do I replace it?

Check the trackball connector on the harness first.
Transport may have jiggled it loose.

Don't just turn up that knob, verify the voltages with a meter.
Check at both the power supply AND the board. If there's like a volt difference, you've got a resistance problem somewhere and you need to correct it.
