Title: WTB 4 superbright red LEDs [US/IA/Orange City]

I just need 4 super bright red LEDs.  I tried to buy in bulk from China, that flopped.  I'm not crazy about paying $5-$9 shipping just for 4 LEDS.  I would be willing to pay $2 for 4 LEDs, shipping, and trouble.  I know it's not a mega-profit deal, but it would be a great help to me.  I do have PayPal as well.

I think I have some in 3mm & 5mm does it matter what size they are?

I am pretty sure the 5's are 8,000MCD but I dont recall what the 3's were they were either 5,000 or 7,000 but I dont recall  :dunno

Either would be wonderful!  I'm gonna use them to light my trackball, but I've got to build a custom set-up since my trackball actually sits on the bottom of my control panel.  I've got it all planned out, just trying to score some LEDs now.  Looks like I might be in luck! :applaud:  Do 5mm put out more light than 3mm?

usually the 5mm's are brighter but it can go either way really.

I have a litemite I think there called made for trackballs if interested it is new never used but it has a blue led on there instead of red.

I found a bag of Red 3mm 7,000MCD

I used them in my xbox and there really bright.
