ok bit confused, can't see a thing when you're in the cabinet it's just pitch black..
it sounds like you need to get the actual connection to the monitor correct?
if this is the case im not sure what kinda connector it is but you need 5 wires
red, blue, green, ground, and video sync
they're usually color coded
red for red
green for green
blue for blue
black for ground
white for sync.. sync will be for both vertical and horizonal sync.. so the connector on teh monitors chassis will probably have a jumper wire connecting the two pins.
im not much of an expert on monitors.. infact im pretty noobish my self but im pretty sure thats correct.
if you're unsure about the wires then follow them starting with the jamma's edge connector..
you can find pinout for jamma connector pretty easlily with google, here's one http://www.jammaboards.com/jcenter_jamma_pinout.html
the jamma connector might even have a sticker on it showing pinout.
the parts side is the top, solder side is the bottom.. like you're looking at a circuit board.

Yes these are mainly monitor wires.
