Title: remember last selected game list and game

Hi

Maybe I'm stupid, or maybe I just missed it, but how do I get MaLa to remember my last selected gamelist and game whenever I start it?

For example, I have a "Favourites" gamelist setup, which I'm always using, but whenever MaLa loads, it always starts at the top of the tree and I have to manually navigate there every time.

I tried the "track selected game list and game" in GUI->Options->Game Lists, but this doesn't solve it.

I'm using v 1.04.

how are you closing mala, if you close by just pressing the power button to shut your cab down or right click and exit it wont save where you are, if you use malas shutdown method it will save where you were

Hi

Yes I'm closing using the exit button on my CP (assigned to ESC), which asks me if i'm sure I want to quit, then takes me back to the desktop - so I guess it *should* be saving, but it isn't. :(

Any ideas?  Have I got the wrong setting? I couldn't find another related setting...

under
gui
options
gamelists
put a tick in track selected game and gamelist
see if that helps

You don't have any files in the MALA dir set to read only do you?

That might prevent it saving state....

He's using the Tree type layout.   I don't use that; does it definitely normally save your last position when using the Tree layout?

Hi guys... ok I figured it out...   seems the quit button is the same as the "go to parent menu in the tree" button... so there's no way to quit from MaLa unless you first go back to the top of the tree.  Am I right?
