Have installed Mala 1.05 on a new cab, was working fine but now it boots up and every time I try any button I get an "expected error, mala will terminate now". Here's the male.exe log:

gibberish to me, anyone have any ideas?

Any chance you have no games in your game list?

For debugging purposes, I would try creating a new game list and setting that list as my current list. Put like 5 games in that list to make it simple. Then let us know if MaLa operates fine with that list. If it does, then perhaps your existing list of games got corrupted somehow and you will need to rebuild it. If it doesn't work fine with the new list then....probably loadman will have to chime in.

Thing is, I can't open Mala's option screen without it crashing, so I think I should reinstall first, then try a simple games list as suggested. Thanks for the advice!

Darn. I was hoping you could get into the options, just not able to move around in the interface otherwise.

No, it's a pain! It starts up but pressing any key/mouse button locks it up. Will have a little look at things in an hour or so, must finish another coat of paint in the spare room first...
