I have a jamma cabinet but im not sure which control interface to use. At 1st I was thinking about the I-PAC but then started to think about the J-PAC. Any advise??

well the jpac will let you use the jamma harness.. on the other hand if you want more then 3 buttons per player you need to run extra wires for those buttons..
personally i'd rather go with the i-pac.. saving the jamma harness is really very low on priorities for me.. it's not like it's a great deal of work to rereun your own wires and it'll probably look better anyway.
besides screw terminals are a lot more reliable then a edge connector like a jamma.
j-pac would be good imo if you wanted to take a hands off approach on the cab.. or wanted to be able to also run jamma boards on it..
but that also means leaving the power supply in there.
this is a personal prefrence but if it's gonna be a mame cab then make it a mame cab, ditch the jamma wiring and start fresh with a i-pac.. jpac is more expensive anyway.

the mini ipac and harness comes in pretty cheap.the harness you would be getting for around £10 ontop the price of the mini ipac if you bought the mini ipac on its own,it comes with the harness and grounding daisy chain.also the harnerss just has a connection on one end so it slips onto the pins on the mini ipac.
i just got to get cracking with my mame project and the mini ipac is what i got from ultimarc with the harness.
if you weant to run a spinner and a trackball you will need a harness for them.i was in contact with ultimarc as i got a golden tee trackball i want to fit on the cab as well,so he suggested the upgrade harness.
