stock fans are the best fans on the market search to do the 9V or 12V mod.
while you have it apart cut out the wire mesh fan grill it heats up spread heat and also resistricts the exucuast a tad.
get some masking tape and poster board and cover the top of the gpu & cpu heatsink only and use the masking tape to hold them down so the tape only goes on the poster board and fan shroud.
seal the fans to the fan shround better with the same tape and tape any gaps this way it will pull the air out harder for more of a vacuum effect.
also tape the side of the gpu and cpu heatsinks to the fan shroud.
google 360 12V / 9V fan & 360 poster board
both fans at 12V is rather loud though.

While I was fixing my rrod box, I cutout the metal casing under where the main chips are and made a same cutout on the outside shell. I had an extra xbox fan and I glued it to the bottom of the case where I made the cutout. Now I can push cool air into the xbox from underneath the motherboard right where the chips are. I also had to put some legs on the xbox so the fan has some space.

if you get dust in the home or have pets you may also want to add a screen if you have an intake fan becuase it will act like a dust magnet and pull dust lint and hair into the console and if the heatsinks get plugged it will overheat real fast.

I did the 12V fan mod. ya its loud but nothing that can be over came with the volume button on the TV. Man does it keep it cool. Alot cooler then before.

Talismoon Fan, it comes with a 9V/12V switch, also cutting the metal mesh out of the back of the 360 will GREATLY improve airflow, theres also the foil/business card trick on the heatsinks
