I Looked on this site for this question already (sorry if its already been asked). I'm looking to pick up a Nintendo Cab for my first total restore. My question is, from the pictures I have seen from other people on this site I know the tag plate to look for, but I don't know how to read it. ??? Did Nintendo have standard serial number formats for different games? Or are the serial numbers random for all game cabs? :dizzy: Thanks ahead of time!

Probably partial answer (at least) in the following threads 1 (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=54939.0) 2 (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=62884.0) (interesting Nintendo cab info).
Also Mike's Arcade (http://www.mikesarcade.com/cgi-bin/spies.cgi?action=url&type=info&page=NintendoList.html)
Lots of info if you do some searching. Things to look for to identify the original game (other than plate info) are colour of cab, number of slots in speaker grill, horizontal or vertical mounted monitor, etc...

CamaroMurph over at klov has a DK/RadarScope registry thread. He'd probably be a great person to talk to about this.

Thanks for the Info! ;D

Is there any one who is reproducing the plates on the back of the cabinet? Mine didn't come with one but you can see the screw holes where it used to be. :'(

Convert it to a D2K cab and you can get a D2K serial # plate from TOG. ;D
