so, am I right in thinking that the Billabs BL27CB0P is no longer available?
i.e. the one with these specs
27" 15~48 kHz VeriFlat™
Autosync™
CGA/EGA/VGA/SVGA/XGA Penta-Resolution
V-Freq. 47~90 Hz
Adjustment Controls: Brightness, Contrast, V-Pos., V-Size,V-Hold, H-Hold, H-Position, Pincushion, H-Size, Trapezoid, Rotation, RGB Adj., Impedance Select Switch
Sync: 15-pin D-sub male connector and/or 6-pin(R, G, B, GND, H+V, V) connector
I tried looking into Wei-Ya's models since they were the OEM. and i dont think i see anything comparable?
The only tri-sync Wei-Ya's I see are 640x480.
Is there anything comparable still on the market? i.e. 15khz arcade monitor that also runs 1024x768 and has a Dsub connector.
I see that there is a Betson 800x600 but nothing 1024x768....??

you have no chance with a crt monitor at those specs-you're only chance is a lcd now

Short answer is yes. No longer made.

Yep, it's long gone. I wish I had purchased one of these a couple years ago when I had the chance. Now I'm stuck with the decision of whether to go for a low res multisync (cga/ega/vga) or a high res (SVGA/XGA). It's a very hard decision, which would be infinitely easier if I could actually see them both. I have no idea what the classics would look like upscaled on the high res arcade monitor, but I do know it would be nice to have that flexibility for other things (Pinball, PC games).

There is also a middle ground: the WG9800 (CGA/EGA/VGA/SVGA). It also supports XGA (1024x768) in interlaced mode with Soft15khz. Works great for PC games that need a little more resolution. In fact, any monitor that supports EGA modes should support interlaced XGA. There is a bit of flickering in windows, but games look nice and smooth.
