picked up my next project (even though i got one on the go already :P) and when i turn it on i see a black band down the right side of the screen.

its an hantarex monitor,i saw 2 obvious knobs but, they are for color and brightness if i aint mistaken.
can anyone point me in the right direction please?
thanks.
*edit*
i am thinking there is a board prob as i have actualy had a game use the whole screen, although it had no sound.
*shrugs*

almost all game boards require adjustments to fit the monitor, you need to find the horizontal size and horizontal shift adjustment on the remote pcb
-
i can see the power board for the monitor.it has like contrast and brightness on the monitor itself.
i found the vertical switch but,i cant seem to find an horizontal one.theres only 2 buttons visdible on that remote board, one adjusts the vertical the other color.i am at a loss here, its either something so obvious but,i fail to see the horizontal button.
???
i took a pic so you can see better (sorry for quality)

theres from left of board to right,on the left corner is color,on the little board is vertical hold, then on the white thing with the metal round it is a sharpness and i think focus or contrast.
there is a switch near the vertical hold board, just behind it,if i switch it i get loads of lines.
there is a green connector with B G R GND VS HS there is a wire thats been solder to HS.i take it vs/hs is vertical and horizontal sync?i cannot see anything else, with my luck it is probably something so simple vas well.

its a hantarex mtc9000,the horizontal shift is on that small board in the centre-you are missing the adjuster trimmers from the pots

your my hero.
it was the one on the top left.i just used a sharp knife to get in there.the one you suggested was horizontal amp.
thankyou.
