Hello again everyone. After many years i have gotten to a point where im interested in working on my sit down driving cabinet again.

I am using a fanatec speedster 3 force feedback wheel in my arcade sitdown.
I am using real arcade pedals and a real arcade shifter.

I love the fact that everything about my cabinet can withstan the wear and tear of a real arcade machine. That is all but the steering wheel. The steering when happens to be the part that gets the most ear and tear as well. pulling on it when people get in and out of the cab. as your arms get tired the weight of your arms weigh on it etc etc.

I am using the wheel as is and just extended the neck to fit throught the cabinet.

many years ago i bought a real arcade steering wheel with a huge motor on it. 90v to be exact. At the time i purcahsed it no one had been able to convert the signals from the force feedback controller and amplify them to the arcade wheel. I know for a fact that using the motor as is is a no go simply due to the size of the motors. the arcade on is probably 50x bigger.

That was 2+ years ago...maybe even 3 or 4. sooooo...times and technology change.

Anyone know where to point me to someone who has or know how to do the conversion?

While I'm not entirely sure, I think that on the Xbox, even for games that support the 'Wheel' controller rather than treating the wheels like standard controllers, the rumble is still just that, rumble.  I don't think the Xbox games support true force feedback like say, PS2 Driving Force wheels will with the right games.

However I admit to not being 100% sure on this.

ok. this is probably true. in fact i believe you are correct as the motor on the whell just jerks the wheel back and forth. is there a way to make this motor on the arcade wheel do the same thing?
