Has anybody had any problems ordering from Groovy game gear of late?
I orderd from them on the 28th july and it still says processng in my acount and no payment has been taken from my bank account, I emailed them last week to chase it up but no one has got back to me.

Randy is a good guy....check your email and look at your spam folder to see if he has contacted ya...
I had a similar problem once & he actually called me, because we couldn't get in touch with each other via email.

I placed an order on July 29 or 30th and Randy shipped my order out on August 6. He emailed me back to apologize for the delay on the shipping and replies to a few questions I had emailed him earlier. He's a good guy to deal with so just be patient.

I just placed an order from him in late July and it did take a little bit of time. (I didn't find out what the problem was but I didn't push the matter either - Randy did respond.) I think this is unusual for GGG so just hang in there. I am VERY pleased with what I received.
I think we're getting spoiled with real-time responses the internet gives us. GGG has been a little slower than normal lately, but there was a time when 3 days wasn't unacceptable. ;)

Sorry about the delays, folks. It's been a very hectic month here. Higher than normal order volumes, R&D projects, stock shortages/vendor problems and a couple of items on the personal front (Daughter's wedding, hosting her grandfather from Germany during his month long visit, etc..) have caused some orders to go out a little slower than we would have liked.
Just a couple of comments about other things that can affect processing times. Some orders go out the day they are received if they are simple resale type items, while others may take a bit longer if they are something we need to build. If there are many of those types of items on the same order, it can take a few days to get everything completed and tested.
If someone uses the order comments box to ask questions that ultimately cast doubt as to whether the order should be filled, this ends up putting that order on hold until things can be ironed out. Lots of things affect processing time, and high order volumes can stretch these a bit. We seem to get hit in waves for some reason, which makes it tough to gauge resource allocation in any meaningful way, so the "machine" just bogs down when it happens.
If anyone placing an order has an urgent project timeline, they should alert us to that in the comments box when placing the order. When folks do this, we make an extra effort to try to accommodate, or I will notify them if it's going to be a problem.
Things are starting to get back on track now and we are focussing on clearing any backlogs. Thanks to everyone for the business.

Completely understandable. We're glad to hear that you're catching up. Hopefully all the vendor issues were resolved - there's nothing fun about being dependant on someone that's not coming through.

Since you are watching this thread Randy, how do I order novagem buttons with rgb inserts from you? I don't want to pay for the mono lights if I can help it since I won't be using them.
I asked this over a month ago via PM and email, just to make sure you aren't losing emails, etc.

Order the NovaGems with whatever switch you want. In the comments, state that you want the RGB drives instead of whatever color you ordered. The order will be modified and $1.49 per unit added.

The EI pushbuttons took longer than I had hoped (your comments said you wanted them, as well as some lighted sticks). The EI buttons just came in, so I'll be contacting you shortly to finalize how the order should be filled.

i can say randy shipped my order last mondag and it was in on friday
i live in the netherlands so that was really quick
i could not get my led-wiz to run , randy helped via email and viola all is nice now thanks randy ! :applaud:
