Title: 12 core 16/0.2mm (20AWG) cable - CP wiring (UK-Int Shipping)
Post by: Franco B on August 11, 2009, 05:16:00 am
I have some 12 core 16/0.2mm (20AWG) cable for sale.

Number of Cores 12
CSA 0.5mm²
Voltage Rating 440Vac
Current Rating 2.5A
Insulation Material PVC
Outside Diameter 9.9mm
Screened No
Core Strands 16/0.2mm (20AWG)

I had to order 25m of it but I will only need 5m max. It should be the perfect cable for uber neat CP wiring  :)

The 12 cores could be used for 6 buttons per player, 4 joystick micros (8/4 way) plus ground leaving one extra wire which could be a seventh button or start etc button.

Price will be £1.80/$3 per meter plus actual shipping.

Hey, did you pick up amp connectors for your Candy cab?

Who's your source on those?

Sure did, for use with your DC hacks  ;)

I got them from Andy @ [Sega Shed (http://triplemoonstar.brinkster.net/segashed/default.asp?maincat=-3)].

You can get them from [Starcab (http://www.starcab.net/)] and I have also been told that you can get samples from [Tyco (http://www.tycoelectronics.com/)], maybe enough to do your cab for free.

I had a quick look around for a US distributor for you but I didn't come up with much, probably due to not knowing part numbers etc. I know on my Naomi's they are type b AMP connectors (10 and 12 contacts) but that's it.

Yeah, I've got samples from Tyco in the past...   ;D  8)

I have the part numbers, but never could find a US distributor for them.
