the guy says it works and it's a complete boardset

i bet you can win that auction for under 50, probably for about 40-45 i'd imagine it's just about topped out.


i know you know you need both boards + wires so the below is for general consumption.

you have to be careful of this cause i've seen several auctions trying to sell incomplete mk2 board setups..

they're selling it as a "kit" so you would expect to get a complete boardset along with the marquee.. you'ed be wrong i actually asked the seller.. you only get one's pictured, so it's missing the daughter board that goes on the main board, and it's also missing the power/speaker cable that runs between the main and sound.

the seller emailed me back today to verify the cable nor the daughter board is included.

someone is going to be very disapointed.

that same seller has a main board only.. with the daughter board which at least is advertised as "cpu board" no trickery here but 3 bids on it someone who does'nt know probably thinks their getting a working game and dont know about the secondary sound board.

Not ALL MK2's had the daughter board. Mine doesn't. It's 3.1 and works perfectly.

o'rly? i was not aware of that..

anyone know are the boards the same otherwise? was this just for 3.1?

are the chips in different locations or is there simply fewer chips?

i'd be curious in reading more about this.

still that guy is selling his kit without the sound boards power/speaker, so it's not gonna work anyway.
