Title: FS: [US/Dallas/Tx] Used Dell Latitude C600 - $20+S/H

So the wife is making me get rid of my old laptops before I have found a project to put them in.  Before I hit up Ebay I thought Id toss them up here first.

First one is a Dell Latitude C600 (http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,12807,00.asp)

850 Mhz P3
256 Meg Ram
20 Gig Hard Drive
DVD-Drive (shoddy though, may not work well or at all anymore)
Has Xubuntu installed on it at the moment, has Windows 2000 sticker on it.  Does not have built in wireless, but will come with Netgear PCMCIA card (is working currently in Xubuntu as well).  May need a new system battery, the main battery doesnt hold any charge, but I have the wall charger and it works fine plugged in.  Has some body damage, but has a newly replaced by warranty LCD screen that looks great.  See post below for more info.

Im in Richardson actually, on the SW side of Richardson.

The Averatec has sold.

Update on the dell, it seems to not always boot into the OS, not sure what the deal is, it definitely did fine on first boot, then after rebooting it took a few tries to get into Xubuntu again.  Ill drop the price on the dell to $20 then, and go $50 plus shipping on the pair.
