Loadman I know you are busy but I think this might be easy to implement.

One of mala's options is to "use fullscreen picture for game start up". It would be nice to be able to use a dynamic picture instead of a static one. For example to have it the ability to show the games title screen pic or maybe the cab pic once you select the game.

Yeah,

I would put that on my list (if I can find it)

Maybe we start a feature request list on the wiki?
