Hi topic says it all.. I was just wondering if anybody would mind looking at there mechanical rotary and posting the manufacturer's Part # NOT the Happ part number. I figure they could be had some place for less than the $10 Happ sells them for.

A few years back, Mark Oates put together a rotary switch for 49-way joys. review (http://www.gameroommag.com/retroblast-articles/hardware-reviews/303-happ-controls-49way-joystick-with-rotary-adapter-gpwiz49-n-druin-rotary-board)
He has a site (http://www.markoates.com/rotary/) up to order.
You could try contacting him for parts/info?

FWIW, I have contacted Mark in the past and he was VERY courteous. He hooked me up with some parts for my rotary's for a very reasonable price. I don't think he's still into the kit like he used to be, so you may be able to get some parts for a good price. It's definitely worth sending him an email if nothing else! Good luck finding what you need.

thanks guys.. I was just kinda hoping somebody with a mechanical rotary could give me the number off of theirs :) I can't believe that this is some sort of specialty switch that's made just for Happ.. I was hoping to find them on Mouser or Digi-key. Possibly even see if the same manufacture makes and 8-way to build a Frontline controller :) I will drop Mark an email though

Hey some part # for anyone interested.. two for 12-way switches and one for an 8 way.
