Im ready to make my order on ipac, buttons and joysticks.
Will this stuff be okay? (Im ordering from ultimarc.com)
2 Player IPAC
23 Normal Buttons
2 Player 1 / Player 2 buttons
2 E-Sticks
Wiring Kit
Will Ultimarcs stardard wiring kit be enough for all those buttons?
Secondly, I just worked it out and the buttons (25 in total) are gonna cost me 50 Pounds!! (or roughly $75!!) (Im in the UK).
Any better deals on buttons?
Thanks for any advice..

Why don't you buy an I-pac4 instead of two I-pacs?

Thanks. Do they have coloured buttons too? (I'm after red, blue, black and the 1p / 2p button. Do you know how much they cost per button and also postage? Cheers

heh are you just being sarcy ;) I meant a normal IPAC for 2 player ;D

they do all the colours and p1,p2,p3,p4
check out there website
www.happcontrols.com
then email them the buttons and quantity and they will price it up for you i think they do a straight currency conversion i.e if the button is $1.90 it will mostlikey be 1.10 pounds depending on currency rates

Buy a couple cheap CP's of of ebay. Buttons last forever. You can end up with some pretty cool stuff besides.

With a 2 Player IPAC, your only going to be able to use up to 20 Buttons, including 1 and 2 player, so only 18 regular buttons and 1 each of your player buttons...
You see, the 2 Player IPAC had 28 Inputs, 8 of which are reserved for up, down, left, right on both 1 and 2 player... thus only 20 are left for arbitrary uses...
This means that If you get 23 buttons. You are either going to have to hack something else, or not use those 5 spare buttons, that or keeps them just for that reason, spares...

Or use them with the I-PAC shift function, but I agree with Amra, the math didn't add up to me either.

I have a 2 player setup, and I almost wish I went for the 4 player ipac. I love buttons!

2 E-Sticks
are you sure you want e-sticks? they are my fav. 4-way, but if you are intending to play newer 8-way games like capcom makes, you might prefer others (j-stick especially)

Firstly, to people saying my maths dont add up, yes i am using dublicat buttons (ie the 7th Neo Geo Button and Pinball buttons).
Also, jakejake28 what is wrong with them? I must be honest thee main reason i want them is because they so easily fit on the panel. I will go for j-stick if it really is that much better? Is it much harder making a hole? Do I need to cut a largesh chunk out the top to mount it? Thanks

no problem with them, just a very short throw.

I added up my order on ultimarc.com and its 140 quid!! ( $180) this is for buttons, two sticks, ipac, wire... shipping.
I think Im gonna have to call happs UK and ask what their button prices are. This is way expensive!!
